Brief info

Don graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in finance. He joined the VNA in 1987 as a Chief Financial Officer before being promoted to Chief Operating Officer and then to his current position, CEO. He also currently serves on the board of directors.

In keeping with the Crow family tradition, Don helped build the foundation of the VNA, growing the company from one county to 14 counties, as well as expanding the VNA’s concierge home health care services. He also expanded the company’s reach to included three assisted living communities, Grand Oaks of Okeechobee in 2011, followed by Grand Oaks of Jensen Beach in 2014, and Grand Oaks of Palm City in 2016. Don also spearheaded the VNA’s premiere doctor house call service, Visiting Physicians of the Treasure Coast in 2013, and in 2015, he developed the Visiting Nurse Management Company to manage and operate assisted living facilities throughout Florida.

Don’s current focus is on developing and implementing operational policies and strategic plans of action for the VNA, as well as building alliances and partnerships with other local healthcare organizations. He actively manages all resources and operations within the VNA, as well as facilitates communication with the board of directors, VNA management team, and all corporate operations. He works with the executive board to ensure all company activities align with the VNA’s values and mission and provides inspired leadership company-wide.
